Preparing
Compounding & Specialty Pharmacy

Medicine, made to fit.

When a commercial product doesn't fit your patient, we prepare one that does. TAM Pharmacy compounds patient-specific therapy to your prescription, under pharmacist review, and ships it direct.

We work with prescribers only.

How It Works

Four steps, each one signed for.

Nothing in this sequence is automated away. Every stage has a named person accountable for it, and the record follows the prescription.

01

Prescription received

We confirm patient details, allergies, and current medications before the order enters the queue.

02

Clinical review

A pharmacist reviews the formulation for interactions and dose appropriateness. If something doesn't reconcile, we call the prescriber, not the patient.

03

Compounded and checked

The preparation is compounded to the master formulation record, then verified against it. Ingredients, lot numbers, and beyond-use date are documented for every unit.

04

Dispensed and shipped

Orders ship tracked, with temperature-controlled packaging where the preparation requires it.

Standards

What we will and won't do

Prescription only

We dispense against a valid prescription from a licensed prescriber with an established patient relationship. There is no route around that, and we will not create one.

No essential copies

Compounding exists to fill gaps a manufactured product leaves.

Documented, not asserted

Ingredient source, lot, and beyond-use date are recorded for every preparation. If you ask what is in your medication and where it came from, there is an answer on file.

Talk to the pharmacy

Call and we'll set up your prescriber account the same day. For clinical questions about a formulation, a strength, or a base, ask for a pharmacist directly.

TAM Pharmacy works with licensed prescribers only. We do not take prescription requests from the public. If you are a patient, please ask your provider to contact us.
