Information collected automatically

When you browse this site, we may automatically receive your browser's internet protocol (IP) address, device and browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. This helps us understand how the site is used and keep it secure.

Information from others

We may receive information about you from your prescriber, your other healthcare providers, your insurer or pharmacy benefit manager, and laboratories, in each case as permitted by law for treatment, payment, or healthcare operations.

3. Protected health information

Health information that identifies you and relates to your physical or mental health, the healthcare you receive, or payment for that care is "protected health information" (PHI). As a pharmacy, we handle PHI in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), its implementing regulations, and applicable Tennessee law.

4. How we use your information

• Treatment: verify, review, compound, and dispense your prescription, and coordinate with your prescriber and other providers
• Payment: process payment, bill your insurer, and resolve claims
• Healthcare operations: quality assurance, pharmacist verification, recordkeeping, staff training, and regulatory compliance
• Communication: send order confirmations, refill reminders, shipping notifications, and respond to your questions
• Safety: contact you about recalls, product issues, or clinically important information
• Legal compliance: meet our obligations under federal and state pharmacy, controlled substance, and reporting laws

We do not sell your personal information or your protected health information. We do not use your PHI for marketing without your written authorization, except as permitted by law.

5. Consent and withdrawal

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, have a prescription filled, arrange a delivery, or return a purchase, we infer that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your express consent or provide you with an opportunity to decline.

Withdrawing consent for secondary purposes does not affect our ability to use your information for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, or as otherwise required by law, and does not affect records we are legally required to retain.

• To your prescriber and other treating healthcare providers
• To service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as shipping carriers, payment processors, software and hosting vendors, and couriers
• To your health plan, insurer, or pharmacy benefit manager for payment purposes
• To public health authorities, boards of pharmacy, the FDA, the DEA, and other regulators as required by law
• If we are required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
• If you violate our Terms of Service or where disclosure is necessary to prevent a serious threat to health or safety
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information would remain subject to protections at least as strong as those in this policy

Service providers who receive PHI are bound by written business associate agreements requiring them to protect it and to use it only for the services they perform for us.

7. Payment processing

Payment card transactions are processed by third-party payment processors. Your card data is transmitted directly to the processor and is encrypted in transit. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Our payment processors adhere to the standards set by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of the major card brands, which govern the secure handling of cardholder data.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site secure, and understand aggregate usage patterns. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings; parts of the site may not function correctly if you do.

We do not use advertising cookies to target you based on protected health information.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor patient and are acting on their behalf.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website. Information about a minor patient provided by a parent, guardian, or prescriber is handled as PHI under Section 3.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
